Hello Everyone!
I know the last few days have been challenging ones. We continue to have new guidelines put into place as we seek to respond to COVID-19. As many of you already know, we have decided to cancel worship and other church related activities for at least two weeks (until Sunday March 22nd) with further decisions being made at that time. As we settle into our new normal for the time being, I wanted to take time to share a few reminders with you regarding our continuing ministry.
- I will continue to connect with our community through our blog and facebook page. This will include written resources on our blog and live videos for times of worship and devotion as well updates to future decisions regarding worship and activities. Information from our blog can be printed and shared with those who are offline.
- I will only do in home visits and hospital visits for urgent requests. All other pastoral care needs are being responded to via telephone, email and facebook messenger. Please note that I will not have access to the hospital patient list from home, so please let me know if someone is in hospital.
- I will be suspending my Monday meet ups at Dillons until restrictions are lifted by the government.
- I am available to respond to any other urgent needs that arise in our community. This includes assisting those affected by restrictions and closures from the government. Again, please contact me if you or someone you know could use some support in this area.
Although we cannot be together as we traditionally would be, remember that we are still the church. There are many ways for us to stay connected and to offer support to one another while also following the requests of our government. As we continue to weave our way through this time of uncertainty, know that you are not alone. I continue to hold all in prayer and love.
God Bless, Rev. Tara Ann
