Hello Everyone!
We are already part way through another week, as we adapt to the many changes happening around us. The last few days, some of our committees have been meeting online to talk about the needs of our churches and community during this time. As I shared yesterday, Session set out a new plan for Holy Week and Easter, so please check out that blog post for more information.
The other piece of our ministry that is important for us to talk about is that of our finances. We know that many of you are facing your own financial struggles, and that this may affect what you are able to contribute at this time. Know that we understand. For those who feel able, we just want to offer the reminder that the financial needs of our three churches continue, even as we are not gathering for worship. We ask that you keep us in mind in the coming weeks, and if you feel able, please use one of the following ways to support our ongoing ministry.
Cheque: For those who traditionally give through envelopes on Sunday morning, please consider sending in your donation by cheque to your appropriate treasurer. You can do this by mail, or by placing a donation in the Treasurer’s mailbox.
PAR: Many of you have already chosen to sign up for PAR (pre-authorized Remittance), and so this will continue for you. If you aren’t signed up for PAR, but would like to do so, you can contact one of our treasurers to get this set up. It’s a great way to contribute to the church on a monthly basis!
